Source
How hard the scope works the source. Very Low is the source and the mirrors alone — no field mix, no image warp, cells all the way open; Low keeps a trace of both; Medium lets the field through; High is your sliders as set. They never move — this is a lens over them.

Sound
The clip loops between Start and End, so you can hold on the few seconds worth watching.
Ambient drone
50%
The drone is the plate's own function: one oscillator per wave, pitched
6 : 7 : 8 by wavelength, each detuned by its drift rate — the
beating you hear is the interference you see.

At 0 the scope shows the image untouched. Higher values bleed the generated field's colour and shading over it.

At 0 the cell contents stay perfectly still while the mirrors turn around them, which reads as locked. Small values let them carry just enough of the turn to feel alive.

The boundary follows the mirror count, and is always blurred — a hard cut reads as a crop, a soft one as the end of the mirrors.

How often the sections set to drift step to fresh targets. Each step glides in over a few seconds and then holds, which keeps the frames cheap between moves; the hard swaps — shape, seed, plate — run at half this pace.
Tempo paces everything that moves on its own — colour and spin — with 60 as the reference the sliders are tuned against. Perspective is the lens: inside the orb it sets the view angle, and on the flat canvas it zooms — low is a telescope, high a wide angle. Colour Flow moves the generated field's palette, so with an image source it only shows once Field Mix is above 0; Spin turns the mirrors either way. Drag the artwork to turn it by hand.
Breathing

Type your own ideal breath. Steady holds the cycle at the first number; Progressive lengthens it from the first to the second as you settle in.

The colour runs forward as you breathe in and back as you breathe out, and the whole field swells with it. Follow the ring on the canvas.

Sound waves on the canvas
Disco listens to the microphone: warp swells with the level, the mirrors kick on the bass, colour runs with the treble — and the parameters sway too, twist with the bass, moiré with the treble. Motion Drive scales the spin and colour push; Parameter Drive scales how far the field bends. Both leave your sliders untouched. Noise Floor is the gate — sound quieter than it counts as silence. Audio is analysed and discarded — nothing is recorded.
Parameters
How much of these parameters reaches the scope. The sliders keep their values — intensity blends each one up from its resting floor, so you can flick between subtle and full without losing the recipe.
